From a concept sketch to a CAD model to a part you can hold — the full distance, not just the easy half.
A lot of shops will machine whatever drawing you hand them. Fewer will sit with you at the idea stage, when the "drawing" is still a sketch on a napkin or a problem you haven't fully solved yet. That's where our design and engineering work starts — turning a rough concept into a manufacturable product.
Our Next Gen Athletic Training Equipment project — the Javalign — is the clearest example of this end-to-end process. It was designed and developed specifically for collegiate and professional javelin throwing athletes, which meant understanding the sport before we understood the part.
We design with manufacturing in mind from the first sketch, because a beautiful CAD model that can't actually be machined, molded, or assembled isn't a finished design — it's a delay. Every product we develop is built by the same team that has to build it, so the design and the shop stay honest with each other.
