Fast iteration on new designs, then a clean path into small-batch production once the design is proven.
Before a product is a product, it's a handful of prototypes that didn't quite work — and one that finally did. We build for that stage: quick turnaround on new revisions, honest feedback on what's machinable and what isn't, and a shop that doesn't mind if version three looks nothing like version one.
Our Shop Tool Handle started as exactly that — a fun, quick accessory built to solve a small problem in our own shop. Not every good idea needs a twelve-month development cycle, and we're built to move at whatever speed the idea actually calls for.
Schenk Guitars is the other end of that spectrum — what started as prototyping eventually became one of the world's finest acoustic guitars, 2011 Player's Choice "Guitar of the Year." We know how to keep iterating past "good enough" when a project deserves it, and how to lock in a repeatable process once it's ready for small-batch runs.
